TradeBeam Expands Management Team To Support Continued Global Expansion

Industry Veterans Join the Leader in Global Trade Management

San Mateo, CA, October 11, 2005 – TradeBeam, the leading provider of Global Trade Management software and services, announced today two senior-level appointments adding significant strength to the company’s management team as it continues on an aggressive growth path. Software industry veterans Jerry Dolinsky and Andy Salentine join the TradeBeam executive team in the newly created roles of executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations and corporate counsel respectively.

As EVP of Worldwide Field Operations, Dolinsky assumes responsibility for directing TradeBeam’s international sales, marketing, services and development teams to drive additional market penetration for the company in the U.S. and abroad. He joins TradeBeam with nearly 20 years experience in the software industry, most recently serving as SVP of Worldwide Field Operations for Retek, a leading retail industry solutions provider. Over the course of his six-year tenure with the company, Dolinsky helped Retek gain number one market position and grow annual revenue from $20 million to $190 million. During this period the company executed a successful initial public offering and was subsequently acquired by Oracle earlier this year for $670 million. Prior to Retek, Dolinsky served in senior sales roles for NxTrend Technology, a provider of financial, distribution and decision support software.

Along with Dolinsky’s appointment, TradeBeam has further strengthened its management team with the arrival of Salentine as corporate counsel. In addition to overseeing all company legal matters, he will lead corporate development initiatives leveraging deep experience in the trade arena gained through past work in business development at Vastera, and as founder of Speedchain, a software provider acquired by Vastera in 2001. Salentine also served as senior corporate counsil at Fritz, a $1.8 billion logistics company.
